Interior designer in Lake Nona, FL: a residential guide
Lake Nona is Orlando's newest address for people who want a home that keeps pace with how they actually live — steps from Lake Nona Town Center, the USTA National Campus, and one of the country's fastest-growing medical and tech corridors. Homes here are new, smart, and largely blank canvases, which is exactly where good design pays off.
A blank canvas, on purpose
Most Lake Nona homes are new construction — clean lines, open floor plans, and builder-grade finishes that are ready for a real design point of view. There's no historic character to work around here; the opportunity is building one from scratch.
Designed for how residents actually live
Lake Nona households tend to be busy — tech, healthcare, and sports professionals with young families. The design brief usually centers on flexible home offices, indoor-outdoor living around the pool, and spaces that work equally well for a video call and a Saturday with the kids.
Smart home, styled home
Many Lake Nona builds come wired for smart-home technology from day one. Part of the design process is making that technology disappear into the aesthetic — integrated lighting, hidden media, and furniture layouts that don't fight the tech.
Full-service, from move-in to finished
From selecting finishes before closing to full furniture and styling after move-in, I manage the process end to end — so a brand-new Lake Nona house turns into a finished home without months of trial and error.
